
Matrix Fitness, the Johnson Health Tech (JHT) brand, continued its double-digit growth in 2019, generating $620 million in global revenue for the year, a 17.5 percent increase over 2018. Overall, Johnson Health Tech grew 13.6 percent during the same period. While the company saw increased sales globally, including impressive growth in U.S. e-commerce retail sales, the strongest gains came from trade sales in the Americas and Asia Pacific. In particular, Matrix's U.S. sales grew 36 percent year-over-year.
“We continue to see impressive sales growth worldwide across all channels in the commercial segment at rates that significantly outpace both market growth and our competitors’ growth rates,” said Mark Zabel, global marketing director for Johnson Health Tech and president of the U.S. Commercial Division. “We believe these results reinforce that we are delivering not only the products and solutions, but more importantly, the service and support our customers need to succeed.”
